Dress The Turkey
Our school is participating in the Northwest Louisiana Food Bank “ Pack the Pantry” campaign. This is a canned and dry food goods drive that runs from October 26, 2015 through November 18, 2015. Each homeroom is being asked to participate in a competition to “Dress the Turkey” with feathers. Our goal is to dress the turkey in time for Thanksgiving. We collected over 1700 pounds of food last year and our school won second place in the middle school division. Please help us to collect food items for the NWL Food Bank.
REMINDER: There is a need for protein items like beans, tuna, peanut butter, Spaghetti O’s-n-Meatballs, etc.
