Gifted students visit KTBS

Eighth grade gifted students recently toured the KTBS television studio in Shreveport.  Students learned about the process of producing a newscast.  They were able to meet with reporters, producers and technicians and ask questions about television technology and careers in broadcasting.  A highlight of the tour was getting to practice using the green screen and teleprompter in the news studio.  The students came away excited about using the school’s own green screen to enhance their own video productions.
