    NDMS Wrestling team wins big in state tournament

    Our Griffins competed in the Middle School State Tournament at Brother Martin High School in New Orleans, LA. Our State Champions are as follows: 88 lbs. Collin Bell, 120 lbs. Daniel Olivier, 138 lbs. Hunter Addison. Also the following were winners: 100 lbs. Isaac Deas, 94 lbs. Lake Bates and 126 lbs. Jacob Cristler. We won the tournament with 213.5 team point, while Brother Martin Middle School placed second with 160 team points.

    Backpack Policy

    Beginning with the 2018-2019 school year, DeSoto Parish Schools are requiring all book bags and backpacks to be mesh or clear.  The new requirement is part of on-going measures to ensure student safety.
